For the first time I made a gingerbread house! My Sis in law helped me out with what I imagined would be a daunting project, it wasn't though! It was heaps of fun! Next year I'd like to do another one.
Not to self: Make this early in December!
For the first time I made traditional plum puddings!
(no photos!)
I was really please with how they turned out! I had no idea how they'd be as I made them early December - had to boil them for a total of 8 hours so I was a bit concerned they'd go mouldy in our Australian climate. Once they dried I popped them in the fridge for a few weeks.
Note to self: make a thicker skin, particularly at the top!
For the first time I tired chocolate fencing! This was for a friend's 40th birthday, I was really pleased with the way it turned out but have learnt a lot for next time. This is expected I guess when I do everything by trial and error!
