Happy Mother's Day Mum!!
I am so blessed with a wonderful Mum! A true Proverbs 31 Woman and such an awesome example and inspiration to me of a Godly woman and mother.
I had a wonderful mother's day. On Sunday morning I got breaky in bed from DH and the girls - mind you, they took so long I was nearly going to get up!! Missy was particularly excited. She kept telling me I'm the best Mum she's ever had and she'll never forget me!! I got heaps of cards! A card from DH, home made card from Missy, home made card from Bub, school made card from Missy and a card they all wrote in and drew on at Grandmas!
Mum made me a few new skirts for the girls to give me and I bought myself two new tops while shopping the other day which I decided could be my mother's day gift :)
I really enjoyed the mother's day service on Sunday morning! I loved the 'motherly' touch that Cheryl gave it. I was just thinking how we really have a great bunch of Mums in our church!
Anyway, I'd like to post more but I'm feeling pretty crook. I've got the flu- one minute shivery, next minute fever! I'll post more soon.

ReplyDeleteThanks for your prayers! I'm feeling much better today - I think the fever has subsided but still maybe need to get to the Docs for some antibiotics. Will ride out as long as I can though! I hate paying for the Drs and then them telling you to get lots of bed rest and take panadol!!
