Quick Update...

Just a quick update of what's been going on.

I got back on Wednesday from visiting family in Melbourne for a week. I had a really good time - I love catching up with my family and watching the children develop fond memories of their grandparents, Aunties and cousins.

Since I've been back I have been catching up on things around the home. I was so happy to see the garden when I got home. The combination of good weather and rain made it look so healthy. The weeds have also thrived so I've been pulling out weeds before they seed - some of which I'm sure have already done their damage! My Nana says 'One years seeding is seven years weeding'! I also went to Pialligo this morning and picked up some more plants and am planning on spending tomorrow in the garden with Josh.

This morning I was at the airport sending my parents off in different directions. Dad has gone to the Torres Strait and Mum's off to the States for three weeks. I always miss my parents when they're gone - I guess that's normal.

This afternoon I had mixed emotions when I sent my baby off to Sunday School Camp. I'm so excited for her as I have great memories and life-long friendships as a result of Sunday School camps. The sad part is though that she's growing up and becoming more independent. I know she's going to have an awesome time and I'm looking forward to hearing great reports.

My highlight for the week though was probably the announcement of my brother becoming the Assistant Pastor of our church. I know it's been a long time in the pipeline but I'm really proud of him and his wife and look forward to supporting them in this.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

  2. Everything looks so green at the moment. Going out to Murrumbateman and back highlighted the wonderful rain we've had!!

It's very exciting that Jonathan has been appointed as Assistant Pastor - we're all going forward together for God's Kingdom.
